We are looking for a highly organized and efficient School Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide essential support to the school’s administrative team, ensuring smooth and effective operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management: Perform general office duties, including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Student Records: Maintain accurate student records, including enrollment, attendance, and academic records, in accordance with school policies and regulations.
  • Scheduling: Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events. Manage the school calendar and coordinate logistics for events.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for parents, students, and staff. Disseminate information through phone calls, emails, newsletters, and other communication channels.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the principal and other school administrators, including preparing reports, handling confidential information, and managing schedules.
  • Financial Duties: Assist with basic financial tasks such as processing purchase orders, managing petty cash, and maintaining budget records.
  • Visitor Management: Greet and assist visitors, ensuring they adhere to school security protocols. Manage the visitor sign-in process and issue visitor badges.
  • Staff Support: Assist teachers and staff with administrative tasks, including photocopying, filing, and data entry.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with school policies, state and federal regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of education administration best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office equipment. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Attributes: Professional demeanor, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month
